Thermal Imaging

Seeing what the eye can’t.

Thermal imaging makes temperature visible – and detects risks before they become damage. In total darkness, backlight or fog.

How thermal imaging works

Every object emits infrared radiation. A thermal sensor measures this radiation without contact and turns temperature differences into an image – completely independent of lighting.

An image becomes a reaction: temperature thresholds trigger alarms that arrive inside the building – on the TUGECH panel, in the KNX system or in platforms like Home Assistant.

Where thermal imaging makes the difference

Early fire detection in warehouses

Detect hotspots in pallets, batteries or distribution boards before smoke appears. Temperature thresholds raise the alarm long before a smoke detector could react.

Perimeter & alarm systems

Person detection at night, in backlight and fog – where conventional cameras are blind. Fewer false alarms, because the heat signature counts, not moving pixels.

Equipment monitoring

Motors, bearings and control cabinets under constant observation: detect creeping overheating and schedule maintenance before the plant comes to a standstill.

Building diagnostics

Make thermal bridges, leaks and insulation defects visible – the basis for energy assessment and refurbishment.

Integrated into your automation

Thermal imaging only unfolds its value as part of a system: alarms arrive inside the building – on the TUGECH panel, in the KNX system or in platforms like Home Assistant.
